Asymmetrical Armchair

Conceived as a habitable landscape, the ISLA collection draws inspiration from the island of Mallorca, where the mountains naturally meet the sea, expressed through free forms with deliberately irregular contours. The exposed solid wood structure, shaped by hand, takes its cues from the hull of a boat and reveals the craftsman’s hand through traditional joinery. On the sofa, the backrest shelves open out into broad sculptural blades, supported by vertical uprights that create a bookshelf-like structure. The varying levels between generous armrests, shelves and seats evoke the relief of rocks, rhythmically shaping the composition and reinforcing its architectural character. Designed to be experienced from every angle, the sofa naturally sits at the centre of a room, while its soft seat and generous cushions create an enveloping sense of comfort.
