Asymmetrical Armchair with Bookcase

Conceived as a habitable landscape, the ISLA collection draws inspiration from the island of Mallorca, where the mountains naturally meet the sea. Its fluid silhouettes evoke an archipelago of organic forms, with deliberately irregular contours that invite a new way of inhabiting space.

The exposed structure, crafted by hand from solid wood, draws inspiration from the hull of a boat. It reveals the imprint of the artisan through traditional joinery. On the sofa, the backrest shelves fan out into broad sculptural blades, supported by vertical uprights that form a bookshelf. End-grain wood details appear like discreet signatures, revealing the construction of the piece. The variations in height, between generous armrests, shelves and seats, evoking the relief of rocks, rhythm the composition and reinforce its architectural character. Designed to be experienced from every angle, the sofa naturally finds its place at the centre of the room. This sense of generosity extends to its comfort. The lines of the seat soften, while the plush cushions offer an enveloping sense of welcome.

Available as an armchair, pouf, ottoman, straight sofa, or compositions arranged around two or three sides, the ISLA collection forms a family of seating pieces, each one in dialogue with the others.
