PRIVATE RESIDENCE ● 2025
IBIZA, SPAIN
For this project, Emmanuelle Simon designed each room as a frame to the surrounding nature, where the garden extends the living spaces. Sunlight is invited in, subtly filtered through textured sheers, creating warm and welcoming interiors that encourage relaxation, such as the music lounge, featuring a rope-woven library
The architecture is distinctly mineral, with lime-plastered walls and an extensive use of stone, whether in the floor layouts or in the sculpted kitchen island, carved directly from rock. Outside, dry-stone walls undulate along the lush vegetation, forming a natural cocoon around the elongated swimming pool. To enrich the spaces, a carefully curated selection of furniture has been sourced from Paris, Madrid, and the Balearic Islands, including pieces from renowned galleries such as Desprez Breheret, Tambien, and Soleille.
The collection includes iconic designs by Charlotte Perriand, Ingo Maurer, and Georges Pelletier, along with various contemporary pieces, including one by Kym Ellery. The designer has also created exclusive, custom-made pieces for this project, such as a ceramic mirror in collaboration with Marjorie Waks. Artworks by Thomas Gleb, Guim Tio, and Hermentaire are scattered throughout the space, both indoors and out, where Edaa’s sculptural totem stands as a striking focal point in the landscape.

PRIVATE apartment ● 2024
Paris, France
The entire space was designed in a clean, raw, and natural atmosphere, with meticulous attention to detail. As one moves through the space, pieces of furniture from Emmanuelle Simon’s self-published collection are scattered throughout, featuring a mix of raku, chamotte plaster, frosted glass, and wood burl. The apartment also showcases items gathered over the years from various sources, including objects from her travels and works of art by her favorite artists.
A dedicated library reflects her passion for ceramics. The color palette of the space is fairly subdued, but the interplay of textures and materials introduces a play of shadows and lights through brushed wood and striated stone reliefs. Emmanuelle Simon sought to involve several artisans and artists on-site, including Delphine Messmer with her mosaic floor, Romain Guillon with his scratched raw earth mural, and the artist Hermentaire with a dreamlike piece specially created for this space.
